Application Instructions

It is preferred that the fillable lateral Officer application below (in black area) be typed and submitted electronically. When complete, save the document on your computer by clicking "print" and selecting to "print to PDF". When the application is complete, on this webpage, go to the next section down (in the blue area), fill out the requested information. You will be sending the information "Attention" to Chief O'Neill and will attach the filled in application to the attachment section. Once this is done, click the submit button. If you have any further questions, scroll down further (white area) to submit them. Lateral Officer applicants are exempt from taking the physical agility test and written examination. Those who are further considered will be required to have a medical examination, psychological evaluation and background check.
